The Global Forum is the flagship event for Partners in Learning, which helps educators and school leaders connect, collaborate, create and share so students can realize their greatest potential. It celebrates the world’s most innovative educators and school leaders for bringing technology to life in the classroom and impacting millions of students.
This year, this “Olympics” for Education – with the theme, “Your Ideas Matter” – is expected to attract more than 500 education leaders, school leaders, teachers, press and government officials from more than 75 countries. It will recognize the best of worldwide education.
Teachers attending the event will be competing for one of 18 Global Innovative Education Awards to celebrate their best practices in the classroom. They have previously been chosen as winners at the national and regional levels. School leaders attending the event represent some of the most innovative primary and secondary schools in the world, and are participating in professional development to enhance their leadership skills as they embark on a journey of transformation.
Microsoft Partners in Learning hosts national and regional events throughout the year that recognize innovative educators and school leaders. These competitions culminate in the Partners in Learning Global Forum. This year’s Global Forum will take place in Prague, Czech Republic from November 28 – December 1, 2012. The Global Forum – with the theme, “Your ideas matter” – will bring together more than 500 of the most innovative teachers, school leaders, education leaders, and government officials from 75 countries.
